Campus Safety 2010 Call for Papers
Call for Presentations for the Campus Safety Conference
Submit proposals by Friday, November 20, 2009
Campus Safety Magazine (CS) is now accepting proposals for presentations at the Campus Safety Conference, which will take place March 29-31, 2010 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, CA.
The event is sponsored by CS and is the premier conference for police chiefs, security directors, IT personnel, emergency and facilities managers, and executive administrators responsible for the safety and security of America’s hospitals, schools and universities. The goal of the Campus Safety Conference is to provide attendees with techniques and information on how they can prevent, detect and respond to the many types of risks and incidents that occur at today’s healthcare and educational facilities.
Subject Matter: Proposals on all topics are welcome and will be considered. That said, prospective presenters are encouraged to submit proposals on the following subjects:
- Active shooter response
- Arming campus police and security officers
- Mass Notification
- Gangs and graffiti prevention
General Requirements: Proposals for presentations should include the following:
- An abstract of 250-300 words
- A brief biography of the presenter or each panel member (50-100 words)
- Presenter contact information
Presentations must be completely unbiased and brand/product neutral. Without exception, materials and presentations must provide solid, take-away value for attendees.
Please submit proposals in either Word or pdf format to Robin Gray at robin.gray@bobit.com or Adriana Michaels at adriana.michaels@bobit.com no later than Friday, November 20, 2009. Presenters will be contacted by early January 2010.
